We have a lovely fully fenced garden with beautiful flowers and trees, several roaming chickens who supply us with great free range eggs which can be included into your continental breakfast.
There is plenty of, off road parking and our two friendly German Shepherds, Quin and Kea are added security at night.
The accommodation consists of: A main bedroom with a Queen Bed and a large en suite. This is NZ$110 per couple per night, NZ $85 per single.
A second bedroom has a Super King Sized bed and shares the family bathroom and separate toilet. This room is; NZ $85 per couple, NZ$75 single.
Children are $35 and there is a third bedroom with a set of bunks for their use.
All prices include G.S.T. and continental breakfast.
There is a connecting lounge and dining room for the sole use of guests. The lounge has a couch, two L/B arm chairs and a 32" TV. The dining room has a table and six chairs, a cabinet for all utensils, electric kettle, toaster and boiled egg cooker, for those lovely free range eggs. There is a small fridge to use as well.
Outside the dining room ranchslider there is a large patio area, with chairs and a table and a large BBQ, for your use.. Electric blankets are available in the winter months.
We are located, 45 minutes from Rotorua Airport and 30 minutes from Whakatane Airport, Tauranga is about 80 minutes from us and we would be happy to assist in organising trips to see the many and varied attractions in this area.
Kawerau itself provides the spectacular Tarawera Falls and a permit will allow you to climb to the summit of Mt Putauaki (Mt Edgecumbe ) A tour of the huge Timber Mill is also available.
Tui Glen, which is five minutes away provides horses to ride, lessons and treks on 400 acres of farmland and native bush. They also have Dirt Carts.
The Kawerau Pool complex is a great asset to the community and is heated by geothermal energy, a great place to relax and wind down after a long day of exploring
